Eva Gombar-Krishnan

Public Relations

Originally from London, Eva graduated with a Bachelor's in Illustration and a minor in Social Practice from Willem de Kooning Academy, while also working as an illustrator and reporter for Erasmus University's news articles. Her graduation project was a finished comic book exploring the struggles of mixed-race individuals in terms of identity, society, and family. By writing and conducting interviews with people from around the world and visualizing their stories, she developed a strong foundation in storytelling, social research, analogue/digital creative processes and communicating nuanced perspectives.

Growing up in a multicultural environment and later living and working in an international community, Eva developed a strong ability to adapt her communication style accordingly. Through her work in artistic journalism, she became increasingly interested in how narratives shape public perception and how meaningful connections can be built between people, ideas, and communities, sparking her interest in pursuing a role in public relations.

With a passion for engaging diverse viewers and contributing to the communication of sustainability, this interest led her to doing Public Relations for Cityförster. She now works alongside architects and urbanists to bridge the gap between designers and the wider audience and develop new content strategies.
