Tim is an associated partner of CITYFÖRSTER architecture + urbanism.
His work focuses on strategic urban and district development as well as the conception of circular and climate-adaptive urban and landscape spaces.
Tim studied architecture and urban planning at Leibniz University in Hanover and at South Bank University in London. During his studies, he worked at the Institute for History and Theory, as well as at the Institute for Painting and Graphics and received, among other things, the HAWA Student Award on the subject of temporary living. Tim has been part of the CITYFÖRSTER team since 2015. Since then, his work has focused on urban planning and urban development projects. As a project manager, he is responsible, for example, for urban redevelopment and sponge city projects in China, urban district developments in Freiburg and Frankfurt a.M. as well as inner-city redensification projects in Berlin and Düsseldorf. Tim values working in interdisciplinary and international teams and is interested in the interfaces between digital and analogue design processes.
In addition to his professional activity, Tim works for the "Platzprojekt Hannover", a self-initiated model project for experimental urban development funded by the city and the federal government. In his free time, he is active as a drummer in various band projects.
