Eva Gombar-Krishnan

B.A. Illustration | Public Relations

Originally from London, Eva graduated with a Bachelor's in Illustration and a minor in Social Practice from Willem de Kooning Academy, while also working as an illustrator and reporter for Erasmus Magazine's news articles. Her graduation project was a comic book exploring struggles of mixed-race individuals in terms of identity, society, and family. By writing and conducting interviews with people from around the world and visualizing their stories, she developed a strong foundation in storytelling, social research, analogue/digital creative processes and communicating nuanced perspectives.

Both growing up and working in multicultural environments, Eva can adapt her communication style accordingly. Through her work in artistic journalism, she became interested in how narratives shape public perception and how meaningful connections can be built between people, ideas, and communities, sparking her interest in pursuing a role in public relations. With a passion for engaging diverse viewers and contributing to the communication of sustainability, she now works alongside architects and urbanists to bridge the gap between designers and the wider audience and develop new content strategies.
