Mariam Mestiashvili

Mariam joined Cityförster as an architectural intern, currently completing a M.Sc. in Architecture and Urban Design at Politecnico di Milano, expected to graduate in March. She previously earned both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Architecture from Georgian Technical University, enriching her education with Erasmus exchanges at the University of Lisbon and Politecnico di Milano. Mariam's diverse background spans professional experience in Georgia on residential and multifunctional complexes, freelance work in UK and Balkans, an interior design internship in Milan, and a research-driven Bachelor's thesis project exploring neuroarchitecture in childhood environments. Highly motivated by new ways of thinking about the built environment, she joins Cityförster to contribute to sustainable design. Mariam is particularly fascinated by spatial organization, the atmospheric qualities of shadow and light, and the fluidity of moving between architectural and urban scales.
