Lilly Irmer

B.Sc. architecture and urban design

After completing her bachelor's degree at Leibniz Universität Hannover in February 2020, Lilly is currently doing her master's. She is working on handling existing buildings in relation to the topic of sustainable construction and the question of how buildings can efficiently adapt to different life cycles.

Since the beginning of her studies, she has worked at the Institute for Design and Building Science and is currently also a  tutor at the Institute for Design and Resources (Studio Kempe Thill). Lilly finds the discussions among the students, particularly inspiring. Her focus in studying architecture is on working with and understanding reference objects. Understanding architecture helps her to consolidate her own handwriting in her designs.
