After completing his bachelor's degree in architecture, Jan Gross is working as an intern at CITYFÖRSTER in Hanover. During his studies at HAWK Hildesheim he focused on sustainable design and participated in numerous international projects of the university.
During his studies he supervised student designs in structural and urban projects as a tutor. In addition, he gained practical and design experience as a student assistant in the planning office "Guido Dietze Akustik und Bauphysik".
In his thesis he dealt with the Anthropocene and the effects of human activities on the climate. He designed a hybrid museum in the HafenCity in Hamburg, which focuses on ecological and regional aspects.
