Hauptsitz Orange Mali, Bamako

Bamako is currently experiencing rapid urban development with expansive population growth. Telecommunications is a key component of this growth and an indicator of increasing social mobility. The height, visibility, and scale of Orange Mali's new headquarters underscore this, making it a landmark for the new, mobile urban class.

At the same time, the building sets new standards for offices and urban planning in Bamako by being energy-neutral and incorporating ample greenery to enhance the working environment for Orange employees. The new Orange HQ is surrounded by a public garden, making the office building more accessible and creating a social space for meetings and events. The green spaces extend into the interior of the new office building via open terraces. The use of stacked office floors, connected with high-quality, open spaces, fosters a greater sense of community among employees and optimizes floor plans.

The building's iconic, geometric "zigzag" facade is the result of a smart and site-specific design that avoids direct sunlight.
