Max Hofmeister is currently studying for a Master's degree in Architecture and Urban Design at Leibniz Universität Hannover, where he also completed his Bachelor's degree. During his studies, he was a student assistant at the Institute for the History and Theory of Architecture for several years. Since the beginning of his studies, he has been interested in the contemporary tasks and challenges of architecture and urban planning. He is particularly interested in questions of coexistence in urban and rural areas and the responsibility of architecture and urban planning with regard to the current climate crisis. His bachelor's thesis dealt with the transformation of inner-city petrol stations if our mobility behaviour changes in the future. Following his bachelor's degree, Max worked as an intern at the International Building Exhibition in Stuttgart (IBA'27), where he was able to gain his first practical professional experience in the field of participation and project development. After spending time abroad in Tokyo and Montpellier, Max is now deepening his knowledge of urban planning and architectural design at CITYFÖRSTER in Hanover.
