Enisa Selmanaj is an architect from Albania. She moved to Italy to study for her BSc and MSc at the Polytechnic University of Milan. She has worked in Milan and at the CF Rotterdam office and is currently part of the CF Tirana team. Having these international experiences, she feels at home working in such a multicultural environment and feels like she can be a bigger contribution.
She likes to be involved with projects of different scales, but she has a particular interest in how Architecture, beyond its formal research, can adapt to the continuous changes in the contemporary society and at the same time create a co-existence between past and present. Some of the topics she would like to further develop, related to society of today, are the immigration and its impact on the city and the architecture for the penitentiary system and its relation to the city.
