How do places become work environments?

Work is undergoing change. Communication and flexibility, both temporal and spatial, play a new role. We create the built framework for flexibility of use and changes. The conventional office building is becoming a user-specific work environment, which we address with space, light, and atmospheres for a diversity of spatial conditions to foster both concentrated and communicative work. The urban quality of the workplace surroundings and the networking of the places where people live and dwell are also becoming increasingly important. We develop office locations and commercial architectures as integrated components of a city with an "urban mix."
