There is another way.

This is also true for architecture and urban planning, if we understand both as parts of systems. We think of designing, planning, and building as team work enabling the best ideas to prevail. For this reason CITYFÖRSTER works as a partnership supported by an interdisciplinary network. With you we develop better solutions for working and learning, housing and living.

The new "District Landscape Dietenbach" sets high standards for its completeness and its autonomy. It does not see itself as a mere settlement on the outskirts, but as a densification of diverse spatial and urban elements such as districts, boulevard, center, neighborhoods, junctions, landscape as well as building structures and programs - condensed and superimposed - they merge to a vibrant district, which is independent in his structure and at the same time integrated into the larger urban context and landscape. Four individual districts are oriented towards two large open spaces that flow through the new district as well as to the large landscape scenery of Freiburg. In addition to the small-scale road network, the boulevard connects the districts. Here you will find a variety of divers usable squares, which stand for urban openness and provide orientation. A new center serves as a local supply center and common reference point with symbolic centrality.

The city of Bremerhaven has selected our concept "Lune Delta° - designed as closed-loop cycles" as the winner from a cooperative workshop process!

The Lune Delta° is a sustainable industrial park developed by taking into account the Cradle to Cradle philosophy. Thus, the project is pointing the way into a future for sustainable and interconnected economic structures. Our concept is strongly influenced by the landscape and emphasizes a divers and cycle-oriented industrial park, that operates communicatively and cooperatively. Together with urbanegestalt and Transsolar we are very pleased about the great cooperation with the city of Bremerhaven and the growing interest in such novel concepts and planning approaches.

Lune Delta° - sustainable industrial park for the city of Bremerhaven.

In the west of Vauban, a new start for the district is created.
Not only an urban accent is set here, but also 100 residential units are created, aswell as a youth center and in combination with a possible future city train stop a lively place arises.
The shape of the building is characterized by the turning loop of the tram. The terrace house fits into the turning loop so that the existing rails remain unchanged. The corresponding tower takes up the basic form of the terrace house, sets an urban accent by its height and completes the ensemble. The two buildings are connected by a community level, which offers the buildings a semi-private courtyard with plants and places to rest. In addition, the connecting level shields the noise of the tram and is at the same time the main access of the terrace house, so the rails does not have to be crossed to reach the apartments.
